There once was a man filled with sorrow,

As He tries to make sense of it all.

But in time, perhaps, He'll find some sleep.
For loss is something we all must face,
A bitter pill we cannot erase.
But in our hearts they still remain,
Their love and presence forever sustain.
A tale unfolds, a somber chase,
Where shadows dance in endless woe.
A depressed man's heartache begins to grow.
Once filled with light and vibrant dreams,
Now consumed by darkness, as so it seems.
His spirit cloaked in deep despair,
The weight of sadness too much to bear.
Each day he wanders through life's maze.
Lost amidst a foggy haze.
With heavy steps, his soul does tread.
Through endless nights. where hope has fled,
His laughter silenced, joy erased,
By demons lurking, unembraced,
Their whispers echo in his mind,
Filling every thought, cruel and unkind.
He wears a mask upon his face,
Hiding tears that leave no trace,
But within his eyes, a vacant stare.
Reveals the pain he cannot share,
Like autumn leaves, his smile falls away,
Leaving behind shades of gray.
As loneliness becomes his only friend,
His heartache knows no end.
Yet hidden beneath this sea of gloom,
Are fragments of light that still bloom.
Whispers of strength, though faintly heard,
Reminding him he can endure.
For even in the darkest night,
He seeks for solace, searching for some light.
