Okay, here are your instructions. You are only permitted to submit a 16 bar verse in your battle, with an extension of 36 bars or less if you decide so.
Your submission date is set to : 3/1/23 before midnight (I know.. the deadline is a tad bit longer than the usual submission date but with the Holidays still in effect, it’ll pan out for the best of us.)
Professor X, here to diagnose your hunger pain; cut your veins and abduct your brain for a sudden change; Makes this simple task an enlightening proposition; A battle verse with which I can quell any opposition, A veteran lyricist, an adept of creative wisdom; Intellect; collect your flesh for an algebraic system, a conveying syndrome; rhyming colloquially with evocative vigor, My pen-game is stronger than ten warring tigers; Gifted wordsmith crafting rhymes with zeal, Possessed by passion no one else can feel; X is the most experienced spitter in this arena, A master of lyricism without any written drama; Sleek rhymes and slick lines come natural like a breeze, Lingual dexterity defined by my unique degree, Ya'll don't see me comin', I be sneakin' up on 'em; Vocabulary diverse like an intricate totem, Gripping the mic with prowess and flair; Rapping fast and slow to keep your attention there; the lyrical tactician extraordinaire, spitting fire,- through these bars with an intellect to spare; In the arena of rap, I've got skills that astound; there's never been an MC who could shut me down, My lyricism is sharp like a samurai's blade, when it comes to battles there's no one better paid; Ain't no rapper alive can test my mettle, every line I drop is something you'll all remember, Vivid descriptions and cutting metaphors set me apart from the rest, weaving intricate rhymes in each verse manifest; I bring knowledge and flow, the perfect combination; if your freestyle game ain't tight, run home and start training, Got clear understanding that keeps opponents guessing; not a single point missed cause their minds start stressing, Take heed of what I say, harken to my call; only way to survive this battle is leave it all on the wall..
I'ma keep it straight -- Hungerpain got skills that can't be denied; A lyrical genius when I bust a rhyme - never trite or contrived, My intellect sharp and crafty like a hawk in mid-flight; Makin' sure Professor X knows this is not the time for him to bite, Gonna put my acumen on full display, let my knowledge be known; Slinging bars with finesse, no room for solo buffoonery shown, Vocabulary diversified and entrancing, leaving minds inflamed; Bouts against me start as daunting, but will surely end up maimed, I bring more heat than a volcano of lava with words colder than artic ice, and metaphors so hot I melt clocks; my pens an incendiary device, I'm ready to strike fear into Professor X's heart, far from any myth; the precision in my lyrics brings an lyrical onslaught; of relentless scripts; My emotions pour out like a stormy sea, with raging waves that bring knowledge so grandiose it can't be seen, With every line I utter, you can hear the anger and dismay, as I craft words like swords and cut through your average say; I stand ready to battle, bringing forth my words of hungerpain, A lyricist's instrument I wield, no lyrics mundane; A master in the craft of rap and poet's flow sublime, Rhyming willy-nilly cannot win against Professor X this time; Versed up with voracity, verve, and panache aloft, My delivery is sanguine but lacks a wayward softness oft; Trying to throw me off the track won't endear him his acclaim, For when it comes to rappin', my game can never be contained; I approach Professor X with my hungerpained wits, A challenge for our minds to engage in a verbal fit; Vying for supremacy, we commence the debate, Using strength of thought and linguistics to compete at this rate; My mind like a quiver filled with clever arrows alight, To rain down unyielding truths that I'm ready to fight; I throw out incisive statements designed to penetrate, Dissuading his suppositions without fail or abate; Foiled by my intellect expressions, perplexed he grows, Unfazed by his bewilderment, I confidently know; Leveraging unfamiliar verbiage on every accord, severing with every lyric -- his vocalist cords; Bested in logic and rhetoric, he concedes his defeat, Hungerpain has finally earned its rightful seat..
